Emad Mostaque

Emad Mostaque founded Stability AI and launched Stable Diffusion, the open-source image generation model that democratized AI art creation. By making a powerful image generator freely available, he single-handedly created an entire ecosystem of AI art tools, apps, and communities. While he has since left Stability AI, the impact of open-sourcing Stable Diffusion cannot be overstated. It spawned ComfyUI, Automatic1111, thousands of custom models and LoRAs, and gave millions of people their first experience creating AI art.
