Jeremy Howard

Jeremy Howard created ULMFiT, the transfer learning technique at the heart of every major language model today. Before the AI hype cycle, he was the #1 ranked Kaggle competitor for two consecutive years, founded Enlitic (first company to apply deep learning to medicine), and served as President of Kaggle. He co-founded fast.ai to make deep learning accessible to anyone, creating the world's longest-running free deep learning course. In 2023 he launched Answer.AI, a research lab building practical end-user products from AI breakthroughs. He remains one of the most hands-on AI builders in the world.
